Will an astro turff setup mess up my skis?

me and some friends built an astroturf/summer setup in my back yard.... i just bought brand new afterbangs and was wondering if the astro turf will mess up my skis at all

The astro turf wont damage your ski. but your sharpy new ski will surely get your face trown to the ground as they will touch your pvc rail.

All it does is rub off your wax. Make sure you spray your setup with a mixture of dish soap and water to make it slide properly

check the area around the rail for rocks. I got a good gouge in my a-bangs from a rock hidden in the grass.
Luckily they have very thick bases. so the deep ass gouge still wasn't a core shot. Just filled it up with petex and kept going.

And why does everyone hate on the Afterbangs? sure they're a little heavy, but they are fun as hell to butter, and they're mad stable on rails.

your skis are like your shoes, they get worn out and will eventually need replacing, as long as you don't abuse them don't think about it and have fun.

not in any way a park skier should be concerned about it ....

you should be fine ....

just watch out you don't catch an edge on your pvc or hdpe rail!
new skis = sharp edges and sharp edges + pvc = death

my summer setup didnt do anything to my skis but it really fucked up my bindings. i guess its all the landing on the hard wood rather than soft snow over and over again all summer and they baically fell apart last week when i actually went skiing on snow. i would suggest getting a cheap, beat up pair of skis and bindings to use on your setup thats what im gonna do next yeart\
