Trew Bibs?

What are the pros/cons to having bibs. Do people like them? Im looking at getting a pair

They won't stop you from breaking a femur. But they will keep you dry when patrol takes an hour to get you off the hill.

I really like my Trew bibs. I got the large size with is pretty big, and pretty sweet for resort riding. I wasn't to stoked touring in them though as they have no crotch vent. To make up for the lack of crotch vent I unzipped the outside vent and it really created an awkward piece of attire for ascending the slope. The fabric is bomber, but not quite as bomber as I had hoped. Within 15 days of riding I had some very small (but small) holes in the cuffs. Everyone told me that these never tore. I had some broken snaps too but the Trew guys were cool about warrantying them.

Other than my gripes I listed above I love my bibs. The chest pockets and large cargo pockets are extremely convenient. They keep me dry and warm all day.

Overall I give them an 8/10. If they added better ventilation I would give them a 9/10 and if they fixed the cuff durability it would be 10/10

most definitely nice, the fabric is great
i'm about 5'10"-5'11" pretty large torso, I got a size M
they can be a little tight on my business if im trying to keep the cuffs of the ground when not wearing boots, rolling up the cuff solves that

i'd love crotch vents, and have a couple little rips in the cuffs, but am pretty stoked on them nonetheless

ive got about 50 or so days in mine. I love em. not having to hike my pants up is a big benefit but all in all they have been bomber. I have no tears or really even scuffs and ive definitely caught them on some branches and taken some good 'hawks in them. They fit roomy but pretty true to their sizing chart on the website. Overall i think im a bib convert. these pants rock. they really are the truth (pun intended).
