Replying to Molded cork footbeds vs drop-ins?

So I'm thinking that I'm going to want a pair of footbeds for my konflicts.

when I went into the local shop the owner was telling me he would recommend the drop-ins vs the cork, unless you had a particularly awkward foot or needed alot of space filled. This goes against most of the information i've read on the subject. I don't really need any space filled, i just wanted to have something sturdier to stand on than the intuition foam.

So what y'all think?

ps the cork are 120 and the drop-ins 40 dolla
