FS: Tokina 11-16 Lens and Glidecam 4000 Pro

Glidecam:

Been used once indoors, all screws and weights included, brand new condition. Don't use it as much as I thought I would. Brand new condition. $300 + shipping

Tokina 11-16 f/2.8:

This has the canon mount on it and is in amazing shape besides on small nic on it highlighted in the picture below. Bought from a friend 3 months ago and have nothing but amazing things to say about it. It has always had a filter on it and currently has a brand new uv filter on it that was purchased yesterday ($45). AF is perfect, glass has no wear what so ever on it, and the outside has minimal wear if any. Works great and is a great tool to have in your quiver. Only selling because I just bought a Canon 14mm f/2.8 and have no use for it. Price $600 + shipping

Buy both and get free shipping. If you have a Video enabled DSLR this is the perfect setup for follow cams.

damn.. if only i had $900, i would take both.. i may be contacting you for the tokina if i can get the funds.. also, what camera/lens setup did you use the glidecam with?

Do want the tokina. Can't decide between the 11-16 and the 10-17, both contenders for my next big purchase.

Then get 11-16 and the 8mm Rokinon. Much more versatile. Of course the Rokinon is going to be a lot wider, but who cares. Fish-eyes are supposed to be wide.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. The opteka/rokinon is also cheap so I'm not worried about it getting hit by skis/skateboards when I get close up, its not expensive to replace.

It was not really used at all, but my intent was to use the Tokina with my T2i on the glidecam with a quick slide plate.

i'm interested in the glidecam. do you know what the minimum weight for it is? also, do you have to rebalance it every time that you put the camera on it or can you keep the same adjustmens? can i use my manfrotto 501 qr plate on it?

As long as you put the camera in the same place and do not move weights yo do not have to balance every time, there is no minimum. I use the same qr plate
