So ideally with the release of MW3 I have lost my headset. It was pretty shitty so I don't really care, I was looking to get something pretty good. My price range would be anything under 150$ and I want something that is good quality. So if I could get any suggestions and just talk about what you guys have as a headset so I can get a general idea of what to buy.
Thanks NS
I have Turtle Beach px21s for my PC and PS3. They are decent. I guess when it comes to headsets you get what you pay for (they cost me $70). Lightweight and comfortable. Good bass, stereo sound, they work fine for me.
yeah just got with turtle beaches i ahve the x31's and i like them, the only problem is if u dont have the new xbox you somtimes get annoying popping noises
Don't get Turtle Beaches! for real, they break. I have gone through 3 pairs in like 2 years. 2 Pairs X1's (~$50) and X11's (~$80). The mic cord always quits working and shit. Go with Trittons.
I had several models, they all feel cheap, plastic, and sound is fucking horrid.
If you are looking to get a good quality headset for console, look into Astro Gaming, and Razer.
They make quality headsets, and I can say Razer is a fantastic company. Im a PC player personally, and their mouses are too damn good. Headsets are goo as well.
Ive only heard great things about Astro, and they have a good customer service team. Plus they are the official headset of MLG so that tells you a wee bit.
Yeah turtle beach is mad overpriced. Their sound is questionable and the build quality is garbage. One thing to keep in mind too when purchasing a headset is that xbox live compresses mic audio, so it will never be amazing =/
awesome, I was going to get turtle beaches but now ill def stay away. I'm looking into a ps3 headset by the way, I would sometimes use It for pc if that changes anything.
I've had my turtle beach x1's for near on three years and they are still going good, never any problems except rarely mic not working, but with playing around with it for 5 minutes or so it's fine
