Granted this thread is a little late, but post up preseason shred opportunities. Whether its a rail set up somewhere, or early season snow conditions throw it all in here.
To start with, anyone been up to Bridger this week? It skiable? Or pretty much just a few inches on top of rocks. Im guessing its still pretty thin but id love to hear from someone whose been up there.

There is definitely enough snow to shred up top. However coverage is still super patchy down low. if your gonna do it, bring your rock skis and be prepared to bootpack a little bit.

Sacajawea Peak up by Fairy lake is good to ski. It is a hike i did on November 5th. The lines are steep and you have a bunch to choose from. Be careful what kind of car you take. 4wd is a must and chains would help a lot.

Which road is it up to the Sacajawea trail head? I tried to drive up there this summer and found a gate. Couldn't remember where the actual access road was... Do you get to like that 4-5 way intersection and take a left? Cuz that dead ended after 200 feet at a gate. or am I remembering incorrectly?

I can't remember the name of the road up there. Follow signs to fairy lake as far as you can and to sacajawea. There are a few forks in the road, keep hanging left. If you end up in a campground, you are in the right place. The trail head is right above the campsite that is at the end of the road.

Yeah I don't know what I did wrong. I took what I thought was the right turn, and after 200 feet of gravel, dead end.

If you're talking about the gate that I think you are, then you were supposed to keep going straight (North) over the culvert where you went left. Like 1/2 mile after that you bear left up the hill and follow the road to Fairy Lake/Sac trail head. There's also a gate on this section of road by a bridge/stream that gets locked by the Forest Circus from November until whenever the snow melts (June).

Yep, You turn left onto that road...there are signs for Fairy Lake. Then you keep going for like 2-3 miles and follow the directions that I posted above.
