So, I was looking at Google Maps, fantasizing about my never-going-to-happen AK heli trip, and I noticed there's like NO roads in the southern part of AK.
Pretty much everything near the Britsh Columbia boarder is green, no roads. You just have to fly like everywhere you go or what?
Just really curious.
And also, what are the roads like in AK, North-Canada.
Let's say I want to get from Vancouver to the thriving city of Inuvik in the Northern Teritories, what kind of road are you driving on? I can't imagine it's all asphalt...
I'm from the second most crowded country in the world. 400 people per km2 (opposed to 0.3 persons per km2 in Canada), so I'm quite blown away by the vastness and emptiness of the northern part of North America. I really can't imagine what it's like...
