Are my 181 pow skis too small?

Hey NS,

I am 6' 2" and I own a pair of Lib tech Pow NAS. They are 181.

I am trying to sell these skis so I can purchase a pair of 194 Surface New Lifes and I am wondering if 1) The Nas are too small for me and 2) Are the Surfaces a good length?

I want to get more into touring and backcountry so that may be a factor.

do it. I'd hate to ski on a 181 and I'm 6 foot.

I'm your size, and I'd consider 181 too small for a powder ski.
Coincidently, I'm also getting a pair of 194 New Lifes. They should be just fine.
How much do you weigh?
And are you looking for more of a powder/touring ski? As opposed to just a pow ski?
Because if so, look into the Live Life/Live Free, more of a traditional powder rocker profile. Available at 191cm

Haha what a coincidence! I am looking into a pow/touring ski but am extremely attracted to the rocker profile and the symmetry of the new life. I will look into those skis as well.

I'd personally find those too small.

But it depends on what type of powder ski you want.

If you're looking into Moment, check out the 192 Jaguar Shark, or the Bibby Pros at 190, or even 196 if you like to charge.

Yeah I would definitely size up and a 194 ski seems like a good bet for you unless you're going to be purely skiing trees or something of that sort
