I used to just wear vans year round and once my socks were soaked Id just go inside, but Im realizing this is dumb and that I need something that will keep my toes from being froze. whatcha got?
They're a 'winter' skate shoe. Good winter tread, insulated, and mostly water resistant. Not to mention durable - usually I have to buy new shoes every fall, but this year is the first time in a long time I am able to use the same shoes for more than one year.
I wear sneakers pretty much all the time unless I know I will be going in deep snow. If it's muddy I'll just wear old sneakers and if there is snow I'll wear these
Such a comfy, practical shoe. Performs great in the woods, and looks sick for daily use. Plus they're full waterproof which benefits greatly against snow and rain
I literally am so happy this thread is here, due to the fact that my fiancee has no idea what the hell to wear in the winter besides vans. You guys saved me alot of googling.
for the people who know about sneakers: will this ever be available without the + version or is it a one time limited release that actually requires effort to purchase?
i really dont get having many pairs of shoes, i usually just buy a new pair every year or whenever my last one wears out. been rockin these for the past year and a half
My complaint with the lace system is that over time the system has lost it's ability to keep the laces tight. Additionally, the older version has a fabric loop at the beginning of the laces that is not reinforce with the plastic clip. The lace wears through over loop over time, rendering the entire shoe worthless when it wears through.
That said, I will most definitely be getting another pair as they are stupid comfortable and relatively neutral looking.
