What shoes you rock for winter

I used to just wear vans year round and once my socks were soaked Id just go inside, but Im realizing this is dumb and that I need something that will keep my toes from being froze. whatcha got?

I didn't have shoes really. So now I do. I rocked sandals in the winter. I mean WWJD?


Sucked when I went to a party in the woods in the winter, lost a one trying to do a flip over the fire, while burning my hands , gashing my butt cheek, and then running from the cops for over a mile in snow with one shoe screaming my fucking foot is cold.


Cool story says to buy shoes, so i did

Any type of SUPRA high top TUF edition. I have a thunder high, skytop, and skytop II, all in the TUF edition and they are amazing.

I also have a pair of handmade leather boots by Jose & Markham that I rep pretty often.

High-tops! Jordans, Air Fore 1:s, Creative Recreations, IPATHs, Adidas. I found some high-top Adidas's with some fur fuzzieness inside yesterday, so I bought them. They were cheap too, like 499 sek ($75). I have way too many pairs of shoes though.

South Bend Shovelslayer galoshes.  Big ugly bastards that keep my feet warm and dry as I stomp through snowbanks etc.  

That and flip flops.  Especially when I take off my ski boots, I like to let my dogs dry and air out a bit.

ugh every time a thread like this comes up, i'm reminded of the absolute garbage that is nike 6.0. thank god that trend drops off in college.

as a fellow all-season-authentics man, i recently switched to a pair of these http://shop.vans.com/catalog/Vans/en_US/style/kyahkr.html?categoryId=65141#variation-1 (the black ones). still have that vans comfort/boardfeel with a bit more protection for your piggies.

although when it gets real brutal (my winters are spend between ME and VT) i switch to a pair of http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/33171?feat=506698-GN3&attrValue_0=Brown/Brown&productId=452937 completely waterproof and they last forever

I got mine from a friend who ordered them through ccs mag. you can get them in other colors online but i think black was pretty popular and sold out quick. def get a pair even if they are a diff color, they are sick shoes.
