Feedback on my hunting teaser

In the past I was a diehard skier.  Unfortunately my current location has changed some of my personal hobbies to favor more hunting and fishing.  I still get on here just about every day and try to take some of what I see in edits on this site and use them in my edits for hunting and fishing.  This is our first year filming hunting and using a HDSLR.  My brother and I put together a quick 1-minute teaser just to give people a feel of what our season looks like so far.  Take a look and give me some feedback.

that was actually a lot better than i thought it would be! i enjoyed! and true the song is just (ughh i guess mainstream is the right word) mainstream you used it well.

you guys have any episodes out or are they still in the making?

We have a coyote episode coming out in the next few days.  We have an archery elk hunt, an opening day mule deer in velvet rifle hunt, and a spot and stalk mule deer doe and buck archery hunt currently being edited.

And for all you people who think hunting and killing animals is cruel. Take a look at this video to see what meat production is like and what they do to their animals and what you are eating instead.



So dont give hunting any crap...

i personally can relate, done some wildlife/hunting vids myself and its the coolest thing ever, to get so close to those animals is quite the thrill! then getting one and providing meat for a whole family for a long time too! recently got a moose so we're set for the whole year haha. super sick tho!

that was actually really good, ive always made skiing, snowboarding and skating edits and always wanted to film so of my hunting and fishing adventures. I work on a  fishing charter boat in the summer and alot of people ask me if i would  film and put an edit together but i just dont know how to make it that exciting, after watching this i got a little better idea

Ya I agree the song could be better.  My brother chose it and we just went with it.  All of our episodes will be on our blog which I posted right below the video above.  I just like trying to edit hunting similar to skiing/snowboarding in ways.  Keep it interesting and quick.

I've with ya man - the meat industry is absolutely fucked, but with that being said I just don't see myself ever being into shooting and killing animals myself. I take the whole "pay too much for local, certified" meat. I guess if there's one thing you should spend too much money on, its meat. Ahh, and chocolate/coffee.

theres a reason why there's hunting season, to help the conservation of these animals. the regular hunt of these animals does nothing to their population when properly controlled. people have been hunting and living off the land for thousands of years. not because your used to seeing animas get slaughtered at a farm where the animals never even lived a life that it makes the right/only place it can be done to feed your family... most people dont hunt just to "shoot shit" a;though thats a bonus, but because, like some above said, 1 moose will provide for like a fucking year!

clearly you dont have a passion for the outdoors, because if you did you would understand.
