Her Alcoholic Mom got her a stuffed bunny to make her feel better because she's depressed. The bunny comes to life, and is super excited to be the girls friend, but then the girls dad comes in and presumably molests her, and the bunny is left speechless and jumps out the window, into a pile of other scarred toys.

The toy isn't depressed, it didn't kill itself. It tries to play with the girl, shes sad and then gets molested. She throws the toy away because instead of making her happy, it just serves as a reminder of the abuse.

Exactly. the toy leaves under its own power. I don't know why it isn't able to get up and leave but I assume its because it needs a kid to be alive
