Sorry this is a late response, haven't been on here in a while. But the way I got this job is actually pretty much just being pro-active mixed with some luck and hard work.
Basically my Roommate, who I shoot all my concert material with e-mailed the promoters who were putting on the show simply asking them "This event looks really cool, If you need anyone to film it, i'd like to do it for free." They responded back that they'd love to have us film their event. So we did a trial run with one of their smaller events, which then led to this event. They liked this edit so much that they gave us the opportunity to film a larger scale event, which we just released yesterday, (i'll post the video of our latest concert below). So just asking to film that small event, led us to two progressively larger events. And now with this latest video, we're working on a contract to film multiple events for them in the coming months.
