Had a filet minon (rare) at Mortons in Seattle when I took my girlfriend out 2 years ago it's was legit

Cuts aren't individually graded but I think you mean lowest quality in terms of tenderness. Flank is not a very tender meat, which is why you'll see it cut against the grain usually.

However, flank is one of the tastiest cuts of beef available.

Has a much stronger beef flavour than say a filet mignon or your average T bone, porterhouse, chateaub. etc.

mine comes w/ a story. so read it if you want

so a couple years i was camping in newfunland (yea it was god awful) with my family (even worse). i was just going from trailer park to trailer park in my uncle's camper. so after a week, my parents finally got some sense and decided to stay in a nice hotel for the last night. that night i ate at the restaurant in the hotel and had a giant ass steak tip & 2 mega jumpo shrimps.
best meal i have ever had in my life.
so idk how much of it had to do with the fact that i had been eating shit foods for a week...
but it was still amazing, and actually made the trip worth it.
oh and the next morning i had the best omelet ever for breakfast there-custom made by some bro chef

sparknotes: i was camping in canada & it sucked. last night of it i has some steak tips which made the trip worth it
