so i have a 16 ft box that i need to get done but where do i get the plastic for the top and do i need metal railing on both sides?

you dont NEED metal, it prevents the top sheet from peeling/getting destryoyed


top surface is HDPV

Definitely use HDPE on top, and the metal railing (coping) will help protect the box, and you can use it to do switchups and spins out. And you can also use PVC pipe instead of the metal.

just use composite decking, so much cheaper, durable, and slides like a dream.

So like trex right? Cause i have a small 4 to 5 foot butter box with trex and it works great but the box it 16ft so its hard a long enough material for it...

i lol'd.

But pvc works as well, but it's quite a bit less durable. Pvc is what most people use for home setups, and I'd imagine it's probably a lot lighter.
