The biggest drawback(s) to early season

Exhibit A
- You cannot just dip into the trees to take a piss as there are only one or two runs swarming with people.

Exhibit B
- Burning teh herbs (see exhibit a)


Now of course there are ways to get around it.. i.e taking your skis off and walking to the nearest bathroom or even your vehicle, but c'mon...

if i were you i wouldn't be worrying about smoking weed. i'd just be way to excited to ski this early in the season

Rocks and dirt on brand new skis but thats the only thing I can think of. I'd kill to be skiing this week.

Biggest Benefits

-You're skiing
-You finally have a lift instead of hiking
-It doesn't matter that the conditions are the worst they'll be all year
-Everyone at the mountain is super stoked
-And oh yeah, you're skiing

Using brand new skis for preseason railjams/conditions makes me cry a little inside, but still preseason/the first couple weeks after the hill opens are always the funniest time of the season IMO, after pow days of course.
