What should I do?

So I was at my local ski shop yesterday to buy some new boots.
I got help from a bootfitter and he heatmolded my boots.
I bought the Full Tilt Hotdogger.
They felt awesome, comfy and very light.

But then I tried them on today, and they weren't too comfertable.
I dont have room for my toes, they are kinda like mashed togheter in there.
I know boots should be " Like a firm handshake " and everything like that,
but I think I'm gonna grow out of them in the middle of this season or somethig.

So what should I do? My dad bought them, and they costed like 800$ (in Norway)
which is pretty expensive.
I think he is gonna be pretty angry if I tell him that my boots (Which I bought yesterday) dont fit me anymore....

Can I return heatmoulded boots that have never been used at skishops?

i know when i bought mine they said they could put this envolope thing over my toes so when they heated the liner up it left more space for my toes.

Yeah I did that too, but Idk, not very roomy in my boots... Dont think it helped much.

once you ski on them a little they should expand more and feel better

hahaha. I know at least where I bought my boots they had like a bootfitters guarantee if the boot felt too small/big or whatever within a certain amount of time you could take them back

Plus when you ski with them, you naturally have a forward lean which will pull your toes away. But I know I never bought ski gear until I was done growing. Always leased it. You will be growing out of boots left and right depending on how old you are

this. full tilts always pack out more after molding. not sure why you even bothered moldin um though, your feet do it to um automatically after a few weeks

they will pack out alot once you ski them.

have you had new boots before? they aren't exactly supposed to be comfortable for the first while of you skiing in them. If you have new boots that are comfortable to ski in on day 1, they are too big. What I usually do (and have been recommended to do by many) is ski in them for a few days (like a week or so), bring them back in to the shop that fitted them and get them refitted, not a full refit but a little tweaking. Another week of skiing on them and the feeling in your toes should start to come around.

If you want new comfortable boots - go snowboarding.

Also, nobody has mentioned the socks. If you got them fitted wearing thin ski socks, and now tried them on wearing thick cotton socks, they are gonna feel tighter. Plus after having your feet in boots for a while, they feel more natural, so just puting them on for the first time of the day sometimes hurts a bit
