A non profit organization that raises money to give underprivileged or sick children the opportunity to learn skiing or snowboarding.

For every like , This page donates 1$ in order to teach them the sport of their choice.

They are looking for sponsors who would support the project and some level1 or + insturctor who would teach them, Please like and share the page if you think it is a good cause.

Liked. Sounds like an awesome organization, hopefully they continue to grow and are able to do a lot of good for a lot of goods. More power to 'em!

they have almost raised enough money to buy 1 pair of boots!!! jk i support the cause, i just dont see how this could posibly make enough money to get kids skiing, unless there just sending them up 1 day on rentals they could only support 1 kid

that is so sweet! I bet any decent resort would give them a discount on lift tickets and rental since it is a really good cause

Definitely support this cause. I work at a ski shop and one night this little kid walks in just looking at stuff. Hes like 10 at the most. So i went over to him, no hostile salesman stuff, just a skier looking to potentially talk to someone who is either skier or wants to be. So im talking to this kid and i find out he's never skied before. I ask him "why not"? and he replies with "I can't afford it". My heart just dropped. One of the things i love the most in life that sometimes i take for granted, and he just put everything in perspective. Our sport sucks because its expensive but awesome in every other way. With an organization like this, it could definitely help some kids out :)

thats so cool. Im doing an internship this spring similar to that, but its for getting underprivileged kids from around the bay area backpacking and camping.

This would be almost as bad as getting them addicted to crack.  If they can't afford to learn how to ski/board, then there's no way in hell they could pay to stick with it.  Snowsports are way too fun, and these kids are gonna be forced to steal and deal in order to feed the addiction.
