Will this Memory Card Work with a GoPro?

I found this in an old camera Im going to sell. Im wondering if I should sell the memory card too or use it as an emergency backup for my GoPro if its compatible. I put it in and it works but idk shit about cameras and am wondering if the quality is any different.

Whoever buys a 1 gig sd card for $30 should be put down. A 16 gig class 10 costs like $40 on bhphotovideo.com

1 gb is just a waste, even for free. you wont even get 10 mins of 720p on one.
