Powder App for iPhone, iPod, and iPad

Let me start by saying this—Android is on the way. But for those of you with Apple products, The Skier's Magazine is now available on the iTunes Newsstand. As a way to say thank you for downloading the app, we're giving away the September issue for free.

The app hasn't gone "live" across the iTunes servers just yet but if you click this link, you'll be able to download the app to your iPhone, iPod, or iPad and check out the September issue.

Is this the type of Newstand app where you can restore your purchases if you subscribe to the print version? I don't want to pay twice...

Looks really good. I agree with what they said above, if you have a year subscription, offer a code to get it on the app. But it looks really good

Yes, we're working with a company to make this happen. In the near future, you'll be able to enter a sub code if you're a print subscriber and have access to all of the issues of Powder.

We're constantly updating this app and greatly appreciate the feedback. Thanks for downloading and rating it on iTunes.

Of course, I'll keep NS updated on this as I learn more.

Here's an update:

October and November issues are being updated with more photos and video. As for December, that issue doesn't hit newsstands or subscribers until a week from tomorrow (11/15/11). I just got word that we'll be making that issue available this Sunday night.

Please post any feedback in this thread and I'll send suggestions to the developers. We're all ears.

Again, thanks for downloading the app. Glad everyone is enjoying it.
