so for my schools ski club this year we are going to some new mtns.

so i want to know the best parks and the best all round mtn for my trips this year

okemo

My school in PA went to MT snow for 2 days ( fuckers were too poor to afford 3) and I had it was so fun. It's such a big mountain, we even got lost lol which I didn't mind at all. Of course the parks at Mt. Snow are some of the best on east coast so thats a no brainer, and they also got some great tree runs

Oh I forgot to mention if you do stay at a hotel stay at the Gray Ghost Inn. It's a family run bed and breakfast thats like 2 minutes from the mountain and they got like game rooms and hot tubs. They also let you build ramps in their backyard ^.^

vermont is the best place to go... Pretty much the farther up you drive, the better mountains you get.

Mt. Snow and Okemo both have great parks but they're pretty flat.

Killington is pretty sick but nothing too special.

Sugarbush/ mad river glen is an awesome combo. Two super badass mountains very close to each other. Great real skiing and sugarbush has a decent park.

Stowe is probably the best all around mountain but it's very expensive

haha mt snow, okemo, and Belleayre....

If you have access to mtsnow, killi, or okemo, dont even think twice about belleayre or any mtn in the upstate region

I remember reading somewhere you said you were from eastchester... killington is only like 4 hours 30 minutes by car from westchester. mount snow is still a solid choice though if you just want to ski park

i live in eastchester wich is like at the verry bottom of westchester and from a buss it is nearly 6 hours. probly from like somers it is like 4 and a half hours but im like an hour from somers so yeah

mt. snow always has a couple really good park setups. they've been dedicated for the past few years and consistently put out good stuff. okemo this year should be legit as well, I know they're hosting a gatorade free flow stop this year so my guess is that they'll be stepping it up in the park game.

if you're looking for good non-park skiing don't hold your breath. mt. snow is pretty flat, okemo is the biggest mountain of the two with probably the better terrain. don't forget you're still in southern vt though....the best stuff is up north. if you think the trees are good at mt. snow, you should ski jay peak or stowe.

as far as gore and bell go, I don't really know too much about either to really say. I've only been to bell a few times. sometimes they open before thanksgiving and it's a lot closer to me than killington so I went there.

If you can make the hike, 7 springs! #1 parks on the east coast (with around 70 features between 5 parks) and this year they're building an Olympic size half pipe! Not much vertical drop but there's also a number of trails and slopes so you won't be bored

I was lucky enough to drive up thursday night and ski friday. It's about 4 hours and 10 minutes from pleasantville. I understand that if you're on a bus it will take a lot longer though
