Lightest boots?

So I'm getting a new boot for this season.
I know I can't really ask "Whats the best boot", because I gotta find a boot that I like,
and that fits my foot. But I've been skiing 2 seasons in these heavy, superstiff
racingboots, and now I want something as light as possible, but still durable enough.

can't personally speak for them - but full tilts claim to be the lightest. they certainly feel lighter when i pick up my friends pair, and a bunch of people swear by how light they are.

i personally ride SPK's, but i hear ALOT good about a pair of rossignol boots with a kinda complicated name (for instance SA3489KH or something) with the same kind of tightening straps as there is on fulltilts, heard theyre lighter and cheaper. :)

i'm in your exact situation. I just can't spend a ton of money on boots because my feet grow a lot so the next year I can't ski on the same boots I used the previous season. Any decently priced good freeski boots?

But I wont buy boots online... I gotta make sure they fit right and stuff.
My local ski shop has full tilt, dalbellos and nordica´s I think. Not too much to choose between, which kinda sucks...

Oh and btw I cant seem to find how light boots are in gramms.
Aren´t the Salomon Shoguns pretty light, tried them on to a friend, and they were super light!

I had shoguns before i changed to krypton rampages, they are light but they are not great boots imo. really soft in a bad way, the flex didnt feel even and the plastics were pretty shitty, comfy yes, but thats my foot not yours. dont buy boots based on the different in a few grams of weight please, thats just stupid.
all these kids that say they want light boots go and buy full tiltz then procede to also buy bindings full of metal and 10 tall tees and a tall hoodie, so stupid.

if the full tilts fit you then get them.

i went from langes to dalbello rampages to full tilt doggers. All were great boots, but I got the full tile last season and I absolutely love them. they feel like nothing on your feet. With that said, I have freakishly narrow feet, and they fit me perfect, but go to a good boot fitter (if you are in VT i can't say enough good things about ski rack, simply the best, though my mom knows a guy in stowe who also has a very good rep). Work with the boot fitter, a good one will take your riding style, height/weight, age, preferences and all that into account. Aside from practice, getting boots that fit is one of the best ways to improve your skiing. Lastly, and sort of related, I got my boots heat molded, so the pressure is dispersed very evenly, and I feel like this also helps with the weight distribution

jk.. full tilts are the lightest park boots I know of.

I wish I had a pair of Fult Tilts... couple of my buddy's have them and they fucking love them. Never tried on a pair though, so I can't say anything more than what I've heard from friends, but that would be enough for me to justify buying a pair.

well i just tried on full tilt drop kick, booter, and classic then a dalbello boss and the daklbello had a better hjinge point, support, heel retention, pretty much everything was better except the weight. the dalbelllo was heavier. but yea from my experience they r light but they dont have as good of features. but they could fit some peoples feet perfectly and hold their heel in and all but for me they felt kinda cheap build quality as opposed to the dalbello boss

don't buy boots based on a slight difference in the weight in grams. you probably wouldn't be able to really tell much of a difference. i'd purely buy boots on what fits your foot the best and what's comfortable to you. if you buy a boot cause its light and then it makes your feet hurt after a couple hours you're not gonna enjoy skiing nearly as much.

if your shop has nordica i'd check out the dead money or ace of spades if they're in your budget. i've heard a lot of good things about them. i ride in spk pros and i like them a lot.

LaSportiva Stratos is a touch lighter. 1 pound 6 oz for a boot? Might as well carry lead on your feet.

At least it has a butterfly tongue.
