NS Video Uploader/Playback Problems

I fucking hate the new NS system, I agree with martini, it's retarded that I can no longer see the top rated video's of all time. That's another, issue itsself.

However, the uploader fucks up my video's audio and makes the video in playback skip. Fix this shit. Otherwise I'll just use vimeo embed

You're right, there is something wrong with the audio encoding. We're working on it and will hopefully have a solution soon.

We also will have a production copy of the desktop uploader soon. There's a couple tiny more bugs to iron out and it'll be ready to go.

Every time I try and upload a video, it says it uploads but then I exit and go to my videos and it is never there.  I'm not putting it in private either it just won't show up.

I've noticed alot of videos seem to cut off early to, and if it's a say 8 second clip of one trick you won't even be able to see the trick because it will cut off the last few seconds

Well since you asked so nicely...

Anyways turns out there was an upgrade needed to the encoders we were using. The audio issues should be fixed as of yesterday for anything new uploaded.

Videos temporarily "disappear" while they are being encoded, but usually shouldn't take that long

We are *pretty* sure that we've fixed the audio issue. Try re-uploading your file.

I also sent you an invite to the Producers cult. Accept that and you'll be able to use the new desktop uploader to try some big files.

Nevermind, I don't know if you guys fixed that but for a while the clip would cut out a couple of seconds early, I noticed it with VOD a couple of times, but one of my videos I noticed cut out early for a while when I watched it, its back to normal though

We have certainly fixed it for all new videos, but we want to watch out for any that snuck through the encoder beforehand and we haven't noticed them.

So if anyone sees a video behaving erratically, we can now re-encode it and get it fixed. Just report it in this thread or another in site discussion.

I think we fixed one of your videos which had this issue. Can you confirm?

Also, let us know if you have others that experienced the same thing. We can re-submit them for encoding.
