How can i set each still image to show for 1 frame?(after effects)?

im trying to create a 60fps timelapse but i just can't get each image to show for less than 2 frames, i've gone to edit>preferences>import and set the still footage length to 0:00:00:01. and i've set the sequence footage to 60fps(although i'm not positive what this does)
i then bring my photos down to create new composition set it to 0:00:00:01 still duration and then each photo shows for 2 frames, any ideas?

i use istopmotion, but why do you want a 60fps time-lapse? You could probably leave it as is and play it back double speed, but there has to be a better solution than that

clever, and i was wanting it so i could be able to slow it down at parts.

makes sense, usually I export from istopmotion at 24p, and then speed the whole thing up in final cut, and then slow down certain section to original speed, but 60p would make this a little easier

think i'm gonna do that, i shouldn't have shot every 5 seconds i'll do every second instead speed it up a lot and set back to original

one thing you might try also is using quick time 7 if ur on a mac? just open qt7 and then go to file>open image sequence and find the first pic of your sequence and click on it. then you should have a time lapse in its original size. then export it as a video with whatever your timeline specs are and then it becomes a .mov file. from there you should be able to speed it up and slow it down just like any other video footage. hope that helps. thats how i do it anyway
