Truly the greatest surfer of all time.  Hard to believe that his snaps and turns are as powerful as they were ten years ago with respect to his age now.  Really a phenomenon, just ridiculous, whats gonna be interesting is what these young guns comin up are goonna be like.  The sport is simply evolving beyond anyything ever imagined and has really progressed tremendously even in just these past 5 years.  But, Kelly has been consistently at the top regardless, amazing, its unseen in any other sport really.  Kelly is a God.

it just goes to show that he was way ahead of his time and still is. Its like everyone has been trying to catch up to him for the past 20 years. so amazing!

Is he an amazing surfer? Yes. But I do not think that he is ahead of his time. Do yourself a favor. Go watch Modern Collective or Lost Atlas. People like Dane Reynolds, Dion Agius, and Craig Anderson are pushing the sport forward in amazing ways. Im sorry but having the most consistent cutbacks and snaps, and the occasional air during a 30 minute heat isnt a way to judge the best surfer in the world
