Ski trip

so me and a couple of friends are thinking about going on a ski trip next year before we graduate high school... we have 2 things in mind, because two of us are avid park skiers we were thinking about possibly going to COC for a session to further improve on our park skills, where as the third participant had thrown in the idea of a powder type trip... what do you think would be better? another thing to consider is we live in the east and ski park all the time as other terrain is just too simple... and we rarely ski fresh pow. +k for helpful reply's :)

pow trip! or go somewhere where you can do both easily without having bad pow or parks like if you where already looking at whistler thats good.

Pow trip definitely, especially if you're coming from the East. Lots of places to hit park back there but nothing compares to Western pow. However, going to places like Mammoth, Whistler, or Park City/SLC area affords you guys the ability to have pretty much the best of both worlds and keep everybody in your group happy. Good luck

id go with park but its your choice. hit some powpow if you prefer trying something new

i want to go to COC though because of the coaching for park... ( kind of still new to the park, but progessing very, very quikly )

Pow trip man. I dont ski park since i ski deep pow in Utah. Man you can ski park in the east , but not pow.

Pow definately. for mountains in canada, look at revelstoke, kicking horse, whistler or red mountain.

Yo go to one of those south american camps. They slay pow, hit par, and bust booters all over the place.

Mix it. Pow and park don't have to be different.

Best fucking trip I ever was on was Mammoth mountain. Had a pow day there, and you could slay like pretty legit big mountain straight into a park run.

I may mis-interpret "legit" for my extreme east costerness... but screw you BC hippy.

I absolutely have to agree. I did 10 days at Mammoth. Had a couple days of snow to cover the pow, and the rest of the time you have one of the best mountains out there to cover anything else you can possible ask for. Such a sick mountain, I'll probably end up living there at some point in my life.

i mean you dont have to do either one or the other but im from the east coast and theres nothing better than a western pow day. cant beat it idc how much of a park rat you r.

whistler is the best for everything killer park fresh deep powder and steep n deep big mountain lines all lift acessed not to metion the village and the happy vibe in whis 365 days a year!

Its also totally acceptable to go on a park trip. My buddies and I used to do it all the time.

Big tour with like white fish montana, revelstoke, whistler, kicking horse, sun peaks, big white, mabey lake louise (had a good park supposedly good pow) just bum at cheap hotels or sleep in your car for a couple weeks.
