Been thinking about it because its way cheaper then a road bike and its very low maintenance, which is good because Im at school and dont have any tools. the only thing is there super hip right now and I dont want to be thrown in with all the hipsters and feel like a fag every time I ride it. what do you guys think?

you should prolly just not care what other people think. Track bikes are fun I could care less what people see them as. do it if you want, don't if you don't want to. really not too complicated

Remove the seat and leave the post, you will fit right in with the hipsters...

They are actually incredibly fun bikes to ride, its a good way to get from one place to another quickly just watch out for people, cars, and other objects cause you won't be able to stop fast at first. Also never get your finger caught in the chain or crank cause i've had a friend loose part of his finger doing that. Just cause you ride a fixed gear doesn't make u a hipster, if u wear your sisters clothes she outgrew and pretend to be an artsy asshole that doesn't use deodorant because of the chemicals and only sit in a coffee shop reading books all day that would make u a hipster.
