JcamottsJust downloaded Snow for the first time. You guys killed it and it's a super fun game. I have a few ideas that would make the game so much better, so I hope you read this.
1. Popping. I find it really frustrating that you cannot turn while crouching before you pop. This makes rails and boxes very difficult and even when you get on a rail it's not very fun because you need to concentrate really hard to position yourself right. I get that if you don't have that feature you can't wind up, which will cause you to throw huge spins when you don't want to. But if it's possible you can change the windup to a separate button. (If you've ever seen Youriding Freeski they have a pop button and a windup button that are separate, and you can turn while using both of these). This is the only thing that drastically affects the gameplay and it would be really awesome if you could change this.
2. Credits. I think that around 600 credits by level 60 is not enough. I say this because most skis cost near 300 credits which means you can't really have more than 2 skis which is absurd compared to a number of great skis you have in the store. I think you should have enough credits when you reach the max level to buy one of each piece of gear (skis, jacket, poles etc.). This way you could completely customize your character. Also, it would be cool if you could unlock gear by completing events.
Thanks for creating a great game and I hope you could take these ideas into consideration because it would make the game even better.
Glad you like the game! Here are some answers to your feedback:
1. This has always been a discussion - half the users want to be able to turn while holding jump, the other half don't. We find that limiting your ability to turn while preparing to pop adds a level of complexity to the gameplay which requires practice. You need to commit to your direction earlier if you want to get the full pop power. This means that getting bigger pops in tighter spaces is harder, which we think it should be. We'll have a look at what YouRiding does, but I don't think we'll make any significant changes anytime soon.
2. By level 70 you earn over 1,000 Credits, which can unlock you 2 features or buy you more than an entire outfit. We think this is more than fair but are still looking to make changes to the leveling system in the future. This is something we're working on right now and hope to have more news about soon.
Hope that helps! Thanks again for playing and supporting the game - and of course for your feedback!
