SNOWTheGamewe are aware of this issue and are looking into it. sorry for the inconvenience!
Does it have anything to do with how large of a map it is? Just wondering as I know previous iterations had a ridiculously high ceiling that didn't seem necessary, as well as spanning terrain that you couldn't access without flying to that seemed even more unnecessary to have.
In terms of being able to enjoy this game I think you guys are starting to get closer. The character still needs to be able to turn harder, think the "looseness" of ssx on tour, for as crazy as it was the skiing mechanics are closer than what you guys currently have in my opinion. Hell even with the loosness it was easier to lock into rails, or at least line up with them first try. The slowdown/ turn feature shouldn't really put you switch, it just looks like you are on a ski with no edges.
More thought needs to go to the controller, as this really is a game that would be boring on a keyboard- leave that shit to mmo's and fps's. I don't see kids playing skate on a keyboard because it's more fun.
Rails need the most work next to skiing mechanics. I'd like to see a balance feature, because that really makes rails less boring, why would I hit a rail just to watch the guy slide on it for a second or two? There is no really no fun or challenge in doing it. Stop making cool parts to the map, that can come after all the mechanics of the game are finished.
