I did review these skis a few years back and its in the review section. However its kind out of date so I'll do a briefish update.
4 years ago I had my first pair of these, I was a pretty poor park skier and found them kind heavy and hard to deal with. I've improved now and kinda found how I personally want to ski park, and now I find it hard to imagine not having a pair in my quiver. I don't think there is a better park ski for how I ski. They are super stable on rails, great for presses and I find they hold up on the jumps I do. I do sometimes want a lighter narrower ski, for spins and for ease of carving switch, but I'm sure I couldn't give up the ease of buttering and general fun I have on these. I've never ridden another ski I like as much although I am hopeful the new SFB will be a good replacement.
Outside the park, they are good on groomed. I love the way they carve and they are short enough to handle moguls, if a bit slow edge to edge. They do get a bit flappy at high speeds but I don't find it much of a bother. The one thing to note is, because of the soft flex, I found that with the edges mildly detuned underfoot and then a lot of rail use, the groomer performance really suffered unless the snow was really soft. I think stiffer skis' performance holds up better because even when the underfoot edge grip goes, the rest of the ski is stiff enough to hold. When the underfoot grip on the Lizzies goes, the skis just flex and wash out basically. Its manageable but tricky. Its only an issue when its steep or you are really pushing your turns, which the ski is hardly designed for.
They ski ok in pow and in the trees too. I used to love them, this was my favourite ski ever in pow but since then I have been spoiled by rockered skis and the float/slashy turniness they provide. They are good, but they do hook quite alot due to the extreme sidecut and they do dive a bit because of the low rise tips and the camber. I can charge on them fairly well on shallow days, I don't really find the softness an issue unless it gets cruddy, but when its deep I find them kinda scary due to the short length, centre mount and no rocker. Since you have New Lifes I can't see this mattering too much to you though.
Overall I'd say they're amazing, I love them. I'm either gonna try to pick up one of the last pairs or risk trying to replace them with the new 178 Sir Francis Bacon. Just for reference, I'm 5'8-9 and 140lbs. Having skied them both at recommended -2cm (my first pair) and at true centre (my second pair) I preferred centre except for the pow performance.
Heres a few pics and possibly an embed of my season edits where I ski them:
Hope those works and this helps.
