What do you wear under you jackets?

Warm days: short sleeve armada thermal

medium days: short sleeve and a long sleeve armada thermal

cold days: short and long sleeve thermals and a hoodie.

it's pretty cold here all the time so usually a super warm jacket and a hoody or a t and long sleeve or thermal
On warmer days a thermal or t and pullover hoody, or jacket with vents open

In like spring or nice days just an under armor or a tshirt, but if shit gets cold it's an under armor under a thermal under a fleece under my jacket, which is really just a shell.

I wear it like this:

Baselayer thermal
Microfleece or wool (depending on temperature)
Back protection vest
Ultralight down jacket (if it's really cold and I'm not moving)
Shell.

Cotton is banned from skiing, since it's possibly the worst material ever, as far as sports go.

So much. I'll admit though that I was that cotton guy when I was 16-19. I guess I didn't know better.

Now that I've seen the light, I don't wear a single piece of cotton anywhere, head to toe.

Next to skin is a tech baselayer, usually Helly Hansen. If it's warmer, it'll be the HH Dry line. If it's colder I go with the HH Warm (merino wool - super warm). If it's cold enough to justify, I'll run a thin fleece vest. Keeping the core warm keeps your arms and legs warm without needing to bulk up.

15 degrees and up gets me a technical uninsulated shell. Once the temperature drops under 15 I reach for the insulated jacket.

an athletic tank top, so my suspenders dont rub on my skin
a thermal to keep me warm (some days)
and a tall tee
and by the way i have a super warm, puffy, jacket, so i dont need a lot to keep me warm

mankini - its the only underwear that provides the flexibility required for true freestyle skiing

well... a thin jacket that has no insulation. so by itself it is literally good for nothing and i HATE the liner that came with it so ill just wear a sweatshirt and a thermal under that. keeps me warm even on the coldest of days somehow.

A tech base layer, same as pants. I just got 2 of those Armada moisture wicking hoodies as mid-layers though. They're awesome, long fit and very comfy, look forward to seeing how they do on colder days.

i dont even wear jackets. i just use this simple equation to figure out how many tall tees to layer

#of T's=2LST+3SST+1/5T(Degrees below Freezing)

so if its 20 out thats 2 long sleeve tees and and 5.4short sleeve tees.

usually i rock a couple of long sleeve tees.  i never get cold enough for a sweatshirt.  over the long sleeve is a couple of tall tees (obviously).  on the warmer days like in march, all i need is a long sleeve, a sweatshirt followed by again, a couple of tall tees!

Thermal Long Sleeve, followed by spine pad, Tall Tee, Jacket.

It seems no on in North America makes use of spine pads. I spent the summer in Europe skiing and literally everyone wears them. I feel like you would be crazy not to.

This year on the East Coast:

Normal days- ski baselayer, tshirt, tall tee maybe a light hoodie, and the Shutout coat (slight claim, but idk really how warm it is) / ski baselayer, 1-2 longsleeves tall tee Jiberish or Akrynm hoodie

Hot days- T-shirt or longsleeve, tall tee and one of my cutoff hoodie vests  / tshirt and Akrnym or Jiberish hoodie / tshirt Shutout coat

Cold days- Ski baselayer and my down Northface parka / ski baselayer, 3-t shirts, 2 hoodies and Shutout Coat

Post-Season hiking- T-shirt, tall tee / tshirt, cutoff vest / tshirt, Jiberish or Akrynm hoodie / t shirt and football jersey

Usually a t-shirt or two, if it's a bit colder I'll pop on a base layer under t-shirts.. if it's colder still I'll do that and zip the liner into my jacket.. colder than that, sweatshirt under shell

since northern ontario is a bitch with the wind chill, i wear layers upon layers. under armour base long sleeve, long sleeve over that, thick ass sweater and then my shell jacket. its not insulated which sucks but it really cuts out the cold.
im looking for some solid mitts that i dont have to put on before i put on my jacket. i listen to music and text so its a pain in the ass to take a mitt off then have to take my jacket off and so on. the ski shop i usually go to told me about these really good mitts that cost like 120 and up i think? starts with an H. anyone know?
