I though that was sick! but i have a couple comments.

1. i felt like some of the shots were waaaayyy to tight. The subject would flip off the line and his feet would get cut out or he'd be balancing on the line and the top of his head got cut. Im assuming in those shots you were using your 50, step back a little and get a better view of whats going on.

2. at :37 the cut didnt match. he starts to flip off the right then you cut to a shot of him flipping off the left. You should be careful with your continuity, because it can get very confusing. You cut at :24 was great, he starts flipping left, then it cuts to him flipping left. Just something to think about next time.

Not sure why you were having exposure problems at the end, were you shooting with the kit lens then? your 50 should be able to shoot in pretty dark situations if you bring it down to f2 and bring your iso to like 1600, try that out next time it gets dark.

I really enjoyed that man, the song was real smooth and gave the edit a nice vibe along with the location.

I agree with evan, I noticed the cut at :37 but had to re watch it a few times since the subject was a bit cropped prior to the jump.

@evan, wouldnt that 1600iso add some definite noise to this? ive tried this and that's all i seem to notice, how else can this be fixed (shooting with a 50f/1.4)

great job overall, that homemade dolly seems to work fine as well. post more work when you do!

he has a 60D so isn't 1600 clean?


I might just be a little off, since i can shoot clean at 6400-8000 iso :)

Yeah I don't know why I made that cut... I guess I figured people wouldn't notice the continuity error. Oh well, I'll be sure to take that into account shooting next time.

As far as the ISO issue, I was shooting at f/2 and had iso at around 1000 which is just on the verge of getting some serious noise. You're just spoiled with that fancy fs-100 haha

Did anyone notice the lack of variation when it came to angles. I only shot from about 5 places because it was such a burden to move the glide track haha. Just curious if that bothered anyone or if anyone even noticed it.

Pretty strange sport but sick edit man. I noticed the "jumper" leaving the frame a couple times, also now that you mention it some more angles would have been nice, but I didn't notice it too much. The song was perfect and your slider seems to work well.
