ok so live in canton ct next to sundown and my friends tell me halloween is now saturday? i have no idea. someone want to shed some light on the situation and tell me if we are having a halloween in northwest CT>
i'm not having a party. I'm just getting drunk. The only difference between this, and every other monday is that I'll constantly be interrupted by children knocking at my door this time.
How the fuck do you move Halloween? You are retarded Halloween is the 31st of October every year. You cant fuck with that shit. Nobody moves Christmas to January.
Hell if I know. I live up in der Canader eh. We keep our holidays on the same dates instead of confusing the shit out of our general populace. But I think I might understand the problem here. Is it because of the big eastern storm moving through the US? That might make more sense then.
CT got hit real hard by the storm moving through the northeast and it's really just not safe for kids to go out trick or treating do to lots of fallen tree limbs and downed wires. I know in my hometown they actually canceled Halloween. Little kids are pissed.
For all you fucking idiots: the holiday itself has not been rescheduled. They are saying that people going out and trick or treating will take place on Saturday instead of today due to whatever reason (snow? power outages? I don't know) It's like if the weather is shitty on July 4, a lot of places will have the fireworks on a different day. That doesn't mean July 4 is on July 6. God damn.
