So paypal is fucked!

I guess i applied for a paypal debit card. they couldnt verify or some shit. so they put a limit on my account. now they want my ssn, photo id, and shit and i gave them a picture of my drivers license and it said i was under 18 so now they wont remove the limitation till i turn 18. basically this locked my bank account, locked my email, locked everything so i wont be using paypal for the next couple moths. the guy was a dick about it too.

my question, is this legal? Shouldn't i legally be able to close an account whenever, or do i not have that right cause i am under 18?

My paypal use my bank account for transaction and they know i'm 17. I'm not using any debit card or credit card.

maybe it's not the same thing in canada? All I know is that if your paypal is used with your bank account, they can't block it because it's legal to have a bank account at any age(in canada).

In the US you technically cannot have a paypal if you are under 18, so they can freeze it until you are 18. I know someone who had this happen to them. Sorry man

haha, i got hacked by some loser in china for 300 dollars when i was 17 through paypal and i was freaking out because if they found out i was 17 i couldn't file a claim. luckily they froze the funds, returned them to my account and i went on living happily ever after.

a word of wisdom, before i had a mac i noticed my computer would run slower when i logged in to any website. turns out it was because of a key logger virus sending my information to china so they could run train on my accounts. luckily i only logged into paypal and they were really good about returning the fraudulent withdrawals.

nah dude, you make the mistake of logging into paypal on a shitty school issued laptop with no antivirus anything three years ago and theres not much you can do. I know its dumb, but come on man.

i use paypal with my bank acc and im 14 lol. so something is fucked up, and im from Canada

ya paypals fucked i've been dealing with the same problem.. I just re applied after 30 days and got denied again! pissing me off
