Can I remove the demo plate?

My CRJs came mounted with demo deadbolt 12s. I've heard once before that 4frnt's demo bindings are the regular bindings simply just mounted to a demo plate instead of directly to the skis. I can't verify this for sure just by looking at it so I was curious if any of you happened to know. Are my demo deadbolt 12s simply just regular old deadbolt 12s mounted to a demo plate that I could then remove from the demo plate and just mount directly to my skis?
