Mittens or Gloves?

I was just about to buy some mittens but then i thought it could be a little harder to grap your ski with mittens...? what do ya think?

if you dont ski with poles mittens are great, and some days are just too cold for gloves. (best to have both)

i would say this is more of a gear talk thread

But to answer your question both are equally as good. Although its slightly harder to pick things up with mittens its not that hard, and mittens are generally warmer. Gloves are easy to pick things up but arnt as warm

it really just depends on how much you want to spend. shitty mittens wont be as cold as quality gloves and vice versa.

I personally hate the feeling of mittens when I have my poles but they are super warm so id say its more of a personal opinion

Gloves. Way better, you can do gang signs and flip the bird. Definitely the way to go.

i'd definitely pick up a pair of each if you can. otherwise if you're still really split i'd go with a pair of lobster gloves.

if your hands get cold easy i'd go with mittens, if not you'd be fine with gloves.

It's hard to explain, but on warm days you can slip you hands into the dexterity side. On cold days, slip them into the warm side and stay nice an toasty.

I wear gloves almost every time out. The only time I break the mittens out is when I absolutely have to. I hate the feeling of using poles with them on
