Kung Fujas: Help Me Out

So I'm looking to buy the 2011 K2 Kung Fujas in 179. I've heard they're a bomber one-ski quiver. I ski about 50% park, and 50% all-mountain on the east coast. Have any of you guys skied these much in the park? Are they too heavy/wide to be fun in the park?

They are my favorite ski. I have had three pairs. They are my park skis, i have hellbents for errything else. I would suggest Kung Fujas to everyone. The extra width underfoot makes everything super stable and they are pretty light with my fks's on them. I have 189's by the way

ya i love my kung fujas i dont ski park but everything else and they rock ive skied them on icy moguls and ive gotten plenty of face shots with them and they also worked great then again mine are from 2010 so it might of changed

my friend skis them as a one ski quiver, and skis a lot of park on them. plus look at people like collin collins and andy mahre, who use them as their park skis. you should be fine

don't get them for a one ski quiver. They are floppy and lack energy through turns. Get the line blend which is virtually the same dimensions but the construction differs which maybe the reason why the blends feel like they rip harder. Can't really comment on them in the park however

i ski park but bought some 11 fujas for snowy days and stuff... park skis died... was poor... forced to ski fujas in park everyday and they were absolutely fine. progressed alot that 2 months as well.

kinda agree, i had the original kung fujas and its honestly the best park ski ive ever had, easily. the perfect amount of everything, perfect width, perfect length, perfect weight, just enough to let you know its there and feel stable, flex was 100% perfect, very buttery feeling, super poppy, but always felt stiff enough on the biggest jumps. perfect amount of camber, (very little).

then i got the new fujas and its still a good ski, just feels a lot less lively, butters well, but it doesnt seem as poppy and fun. more dull. now i am comparing it to the best park ski ever so dont take that too seriously, because compared to most other skis its still great.

I waaaay preferred the Fujas' in all conditions/situations. Put it down to personal preference. I do prefer slightly softer skis though, currently skiing centered anthems as my quiver (not by choice)

Disclaimer: 2/3 skis I've owned have been lines haha
