a photo teacher of mine (who can tell a lot about how a photo was taken, printed, etc. just from looking at it), when asked about the conspiracy theory said that it is clear that a few of the original photos were altered, but only as a confidentiality precautuion to cover up several details that could have been used by the russians to help their space peogram, due to the fact that we were still VERY deep into the cold war.

something as simple as shadows? wtf are you smoking? yeah shadows are simple, but it is in there simplicity that makes them extremely intricate. i am sorry, but no matter what you say, i am not going to believe that light waves change as they hit the lunar surface, causing multidirectional shadows from objects. this makes me laugh.

well assholes light can reflect off objects such as a shiney spacecraft or spacesuit to cast shadows in a different direction than natural light. Thats saying they didnt have any artifical light with them which is SO incredibly unreasonable considering lightbulbs were not inveted yet

come on, have you guys ever seen the footage of the man 'walking' on the moon? if you speed it up, you can totally tell it is a guy running on a sound stage, and they just slowed it down to make him look almost weightless.

the only reason we 'landed' on the moon was so that the Soviet Union would fear us and all of our glory. i mean, if we landed on the moon, then we could sure as shit destroy them if war had ever started.

simply put, it never happened. all of you are just saying it did happen because thats what you've been led to believe. if you actually look into it, there is actually alot of evidence against landing on the moon. and about the guy gettin punched out by Buzz, he confronted him with a bible (Buzz is very religious) and said 'will you swear on this bible you have been on the moon?' and BUzz refused to swear on the bible and punched him instead. now... why wouldnt he swear on the bible that he had been to the moon? i mean, everyone in the world saw him on TV doing it right? wrong. never happened.

i've never seen these footprints, i suppose if they are actually there, i might believe it. but im still skeptical. maybe i'll go to the planitarium today or something. but you fail to realize other things can make 'footprints' such a sattalites. there are many probes that have been sent to the moon. and they have little legs on em, so there is your 'footprints'

dynastar, you're fighting a very uphill battle. I've seen the footprints at the Adams State College planetarium. You can't explain that in any other way than simply we were there. Why doubt one of our country's biggest achievements? Because some paranoid, conspiracy theorist says so? I mean the US hasn't ever doubted any of Canada's or Mexico's biggest achievements. I mean, Canada has slurpees made of venison. and Mexico invented the taco. Landing on the moon, taco, and a venison slurpee are all fine achievements.

countries biggest achievement? fuck no. what did landing on the moon acomplish? jack shit. thats no achievement, thats a silly race to see who can do something. a big achievement is something useful, such as developing a cure for polio, discovering pennicillin(sp) or something along those lines. As for these footprints, i have never seen them. until i do, im sticking with the theory they never landed on the moon. and doesnt it seem a bit odd that 40 years ago they had the ability to send a man on the moon, and even with the advanced technology of today, we cant seem to get a simple 'mars rover' to work? all 3 that have been sent in the last 6 years have failed miserably. none of them have even done so much as moved a foot after landing. so how the hell could we send 3 men to the moon 40 years ago, with limited technology, and seemingly, without much of a problem...
