Hey, is it just me, or do girls always go for the abusive, stupid, annoying guys??? girls, can we get a list of reasons why this happens...why not go for the slightly less popular guy who will treat you with a little respect???

do u know how hard it is to find a guy that isnt a complete asshole? u think it is all so easy but Ive been through all the player shit before and i dont want to go through it again... When everyone says that there are tons of decent sweet guys out there.. no there arent well at least none that i found. Ive been looking since November. And i havent found anythign... so ya

u think that we just need to dress up and act sexy. well in my area u then get labelled a slut and no one wants to touch you. It isnt as easy as u all think it is. And if it was that easy then why are u all complainig about being single?

ummm, PocketRocket, thats about the worst thing I've heard in here yet! Guys are probably waaay worse than girls at being with a someone, getting what we want and ditching her. Girls rarely do it like that, though they can still be harsh.

It seems like guys just want to have fun, whereas many girls (notice I said many, not all) want commitment. I wouldn't do anything serious with a guy unless we'd been going out for a while, but that while never seems to come! My last bf went to an all boys school, went out with me for 3 months and then left school for uni. We broke up because he didn't want a relationship ie. there were going to be girls at uni and he wanted to be with them! I'm tired of getting hurt by guys aswell, and although flirting can be fun it never goes anywhere.
Also, I'm normally attracted by a guy because of his looks because it is the first thing I see, but I often start to like people because of their personalities. They do become more goodlooking etc, like Nine_Milla_Killa said.

personalities are way more important than looks! But looks are the first thing people are attracted to normally. Most girls i know arent looking for any commitments---were young, and free and have to experience all the fish in the sea!

well that makes 3 b/c i'm drunk too...but i've been drunk since about 9 am so its ok. nah lemme expand on andy's the story of my life deal...i think he means i hate how girls let themselves be treated like meat, know about it, hear about it from others, then refuse to believe it. its the whole thing of them acting like 2 different people completely. i had to deal w/it in high school way too much and i'm sick of it to be honest. don't get me wrong, guys tool girls too much and get caught up in some bullshit world where they don't know anything, then they just find someone else and hurt whoever they claimed to care about. either way we're all fuct...if people were all drunk constantly and didn't care maybe we'd be better off...but i think people need to drop back into reality more and realize how stoopit shit can be. the house i live in right now we could tape the damn real world b/c everyone knows everyone's business. we're fuct on the guy's end and on the girl's end. i dealt w/too much of it in high school and i'm not gonna deal w/in college so i just stay out of that shit. best thing to do is realize the obvious and work from there...oh...and add beer to your scrambled eggs...tastes damn good.

yeah, i know a lot of girls who are with an abusive guy and refuse to believe what other people tell them becuase they think they're in love...yet on the other hand i know a lot of guys who are whipped beyond belief and refuse to accept it becuase they think they might get action

that's pretty much the difference between guys and girls (some of them...dont go off on me saying i'm a biggot or something)

Ummm yeah I thought this was kind of a good topic, don't really know what eggs had to do with it but I just wanted to comment anyway.
Yeah sure its true that all of the good girls want to be with the hot, popular guys who more often than not treat them like shit because there is another hotter girl waiting for them if that one gets fed up. But I mean guys are the same way, they are going to go for the girl who is hot and popular. I mean really thats why you are pursuing this girl and pissed off that she is with this crappy sexy popular guy, because you think she is hot and popular and all. It really blows that people, especially high schoole kids, are completely incapable of having a relationship for the right reasons. For most girls and guys it is just all about image.

I think it's true, chicks go for the hot guy and think he's nice, but she's probably trying to convince herself that he's nice if everyone else says he's an asshole. Iono, personally, I think that most guys are pretty boss, but then I'm not too picky on the who guy personality. I'm not looking for a guy to be all luvy duvy and worship me and treat me like a princess. That makes me all awkward and embarrassed and weirds me out. As long as you're not flaming gay and wear more makeup then I do, then you're good to go.

I feel like rambling. Here we go.

Okay, so everyone says that all the hot, popular people- boy or girl- go for someone else who has little class and no apparent attraction besides money and looks. All of us 'normal' people worship all these 'popular' people and complain- why can't we have that girl? Why can't we have that guy? Well, all those beautiful people you see- 99% of them are fuckheads, dicks, or bitches. They aren't even that physically attractive, except for their expensive make-up or their expensive clothes. They have no SUBSTANCE. Most of us have never been with a popular, hot chick, and it's a good thing because if we were we would HATE it, because not only would she be fucking DUMB, she'd sleep around on you. We all have false idols here- we need to realize that any relationship based on looks or sex or superficialities is doomed... and the few that get through are because the people involved are too fucking stupid to realize that they're incompatible. Maybe it's better that way, I don't know. But for me, I don't even go for looks anymore, because all it will do is break my heart and be a shitload of trouble on my back. You want a hot girlfriend? Well, get used to her being with her friends all the time... seeing other guys... spending tons of money on her..... and ultimately wasting away while the whole time she doesn't give a shit about you. There isn't any substance. It's not REAL. On the other hand, I have a girlfriend- she is not beautiful, but I am attracted to her. She has a brilliant mind, but she's not popular. She doesn't have big tits, but we share the same interests and can talk for hours. Truly enjoying a relationship comes from a mental attraction, not a physical attraction. You have to lose your machoism to truly love someone- you aren't with them because they are beautiful or popular... you're with them because you are right together. And you're in a world of hurt if you spend all your time wishing that you were with these beautiful people, because if you were, you'd be off even worse.

well put PhattSarah, also i think that girls in high school aren't looking for a long term relationship, they're looking ot have fun, not be serious, and be the envy of all their friends. Love totaly puts a blindfold on you, i have a friend who's going out with this loser and she's not happy with him yet she's fallen in love with him and can't see how poorly he's treating her. Obviously if a girl would rather go out with a hot abusive guy she's not thinking about her needs rather what her friends think about her. and about the car thing, for the guys, you're telling me that if you see 2 ok looking very nice girls, one driving a brand new bmw, the other is driving some POS thing thats being held together by duct tape, you wouldn't find the first one more appealing? For me, it's his interests and personality. If a guy won't jump in the car and go skiing on the spur of the moment or isn't into anything outdoorsy i won't even bother with him for a relationship. Looks are up there as well. Another thing that i can't stand is vanity. Guys that tan or can't go camping cause there aren't mirrors to do their hair. Grrr. they piss me off. that's all that i have to say about this subject :)

I have a guy friend who is very good looking, and also has a really great personality, but he seems to go for shallow girls. He refused to go out with a girl coz her arms were a bit chunky! I used to like him until I figured a) it would ruin our friendship and b) I don't think it would be worth it going out with someone who likes bimbos!
