Skiers who "spread out" their filming schedule

Do you guys think that guys like Tom Wallisch and Alex Bellemare spread out there film schedules between too many production companies? Tom had at least 3 seggys and bellamere about 4. If these guys had focused on just 1 or 2 segments, they would have been mind blowing and jaw dropping. instead, they produced multiple solid segments, but they wont get the respect they deserve.

personally i really wish wallisch and bellamere would focus thier attention more to level 1. i think its a shame neither of these talents got full segments in after dark, and as a result the film defiantly struggled. what do you guys think?

also, if someone could re-edit toms 2011 footage from TGR, Level 1 and 4bi9 into one mega edit, that would be really awsome. haha

I think the logic is pretty clear: working with more film producers = exposure to a broader audience = increased value/returns for sponsors. As a fan, I agree that it would be ultimately more satisfying to see a more consolidated effort, but I can understand how filming with many companies makes business sense. Also, I feel like a lot of the guys filming with several companies tend to be active, on the move and really busy.there's only so much time in a given winter, between competing, filming, etc., it can be difficult to make everything schedule wise line up, so, working with several filmers would naturally provide more opportunity for a rider who might have otherwise missed out on this park shoot, or that pow trip, etc.

if 1 segment makes or breaks a movie, then it was shit to begin with.

They pretty much just go on trips/shoots with each company. Tom will go to a L1P shoot one week then fly to sweden and shoot with FP the next week, etc. Then tom will go to slc for a couple weeks and film urban with 4bi9 then a month later go to russia with level 1.

well in any sport you physically peak at some point in the season, you plan this out, if you go hard all season you burn out or get injured and can't have 100% effort into a certain aspect.

Geeze, I thought I was the only one who knew his whereabouts haha! Don't forget to BC to shoot for TGR and TNF haha! He spreads himself from one side of the globe to another. Never seen such hard work ethic. So ambitious and driven. #Committed! I have a feeling, and it's just a hunch, Tom may be filmiing more with L1P this year. We'll see. God Bless him!

i agree and disagree with this. true you peak in your season. but your not gonna hold out in fear of injury... and you cant plan your "peak" either. just sayin i guess :P

dont quote me on this because i might not be totally accurate...

im pretty sure wiley miller filmed with TGR a couple years back and did the whole thing of bouncing around film companies trying to get lost of segments.. then TGR actually cut his segment. 4fnt was pissed im pretty sure, so now he films with just like 1 or 2 filmers to produce a more solid segment.

recap: 4frnt put a lot of money into a TGR segment for wiley and they cut it because he didnt have enough "high quality shots"

thats true with skiing, I'm assuming most skiers do plan to peak around the x-games though.
