I lived in va beach for 4yrs. Being from up ne I can tell ya down there....holy overreaction to snow. One year there was no bs about a 1/2" of slush on the roads. Started driving home from work which typically took about 20 mins. Yeah it took 5 hrs. No shit. Peeps were literally just stopping in the road and getting out of their cars grabbing their heads not knowing what to do cause their tires were spinning a little. Absolute craziness....lol
haha you think its bad in VA beach, DC metro area is 1000x worse, traffic in front of my house was backed up from 3pm - 2am because it snowed 6 inches.. Being from canada, I find it completely ridiculous.
Yeah when I lived in VT one of my buddies gave me a ride in a blizzard. He was drivin with his knee eatin a bowl of cereal doin like 80mph in vw golf through at least 6" in total whiteout conditions. Scary as fuck but he owned it. Haha
