If i'm not drinking it black, I enjoy slipping some baileys or amarula into the mix, especially before I hit the slopes.

Love it. I have a kone filter from Coava too that I use with it instead of paper filters, and a buono kettle to get a controlled pour. need to upgrade my grinder though, been using a hario skerton because I couldn't afford anything decent. been scouting for a used mazzer on ebay, as soon as one pops up for less than 300 I'm gonna jump on it.

^I hear you on the grinder issue, I'm also in bad need of an upgrade. I'm ashamed to say I've been using an average blade grinder for a while now (which I've gotten surprisingly good at using) but occasionally I mess up my grind, because it's so hard to be consistent with those things.

getting up at 530am every day all summer would have me sipping coffee every morning. theres nothing like a warm cup of coffee on a cool spring morning outside.

coffee does give me the blowshits sometimes though. hahaha

yeah, blade grinders are nearly impossible to get dialed, but cheap burr grinders are just as hard to find.

fun fact.
kirkland brand is actually starbucks coffee in a different package.

i love kicking horse kick ass, starbucks christmas espresso, and caffe umbria. those are my top three.
usually i drink it black, but sometimes if i am having a sweet tooth moment, i will melt chocolate into it. yum.
i don't like citrus coffees. i also don't understand people who put milk in citrus coffees...weridos.

The person who calles themselves a coffee snob, yet drinks perculated coffee is the one who is blaspheming!  This goes out to all of you perculated coffee drinkers, atleast once in your lifetime try to experience a perfect espresso coffee, it will change your whole perspective on shit.

coffee is cheaper than any form of liquid but water from your tap

what kind of grinder do you guys suggest for under $100? I've been using a cheap blade grinder forever and i'm getting sick of getting a bad grind every now and then for my french press. is it something where you either go cheap or all the way ($300+)?

manual burr grinders are the only 'cheap' good grinder, and require some muscle in the mornings which not everybody is down to do.

zassenhaus grinders are classic looking and work well, but have an infinite adjust instead of a notch adjust, so after cleaning its really difficult to get an identical grind to what you had before.

A Hario Skerton is a great entry level option, with some slight mod work you can have a perfect, repeatable grind for under 50$.

The cheapest electric grinder you should look at is the Maestro Plus, which goes for about 150.

from there its a jump up to the mazzer or compak, which will set you back between 5 and 700.

Morning: Espresso, Ristretto or Cappucino.
Afternoon: Espresso, Ristretto or Mochachino (when it's cold)
Evening: Espresso

I use a Rocket Espresso Giotto Premium Plus with an Mazzer Mini Silver Electronic Doserless Grinder.

Beans: I usually get small assortment packs of beans at my local coffeebeanshop.
It stays fresher that way and I like the variety.
