I had a first drop jacket last year and I jut straight up disliked it and it ripped. Then I got a saga jacket and it was the tiiiiits

armada is a respectful outerwaer - gd colthing and not to big, fit the average skier and well insulatated

Saga - More of a shell not that warm (impossible to rip, ive tried with a knife) and comes in ghetto lengths

FD - you could argue that its the failed intermediate between saga and armada, kinda insulated and come in ghetto lengths. Last years jackets i thought were pretty dope but thats about it, pants will rip...very easily


Hope this helps you out, although if it were my choice i would go...100% saga

From experience I can say that FD is not horrible. The outerwear is actually very warm and super comfortable. That being said, my jacket did loose a couple teeth on the main zipper during the season and my pants are pretty torn up at the bottom. I think that they are a very good company and you should consider buying from them if you like the design and colors

this, my only complaint was the zippers on the bottoms of the pants broke off super easy.
but to the guy who said armada doesnt come in big sizes i hear that the tall fit jackets get fucking huge

My medium armada jacket is longer than xl bdog. I think it is around 36.5 inch zipper

Well this is cool I have owned FD saga and armada in the last year. Armada= such great outerwear. I had the armada range jacket in a XL and it was tall and fruggin great. They have really paid attention to the little things Just wish it was more waterproof. 10k is ok though. I loved my jacket and would definitely say you can't go wrong with armada FD=opened the package (i receive it as a gift in my 21st) and the bottom button broke off before it was out of the package. The pants are much to big. The jackets looked really odd to me. And the quality of the material felt as if I could pull to hard on a zipper and the threads would come out (this I why I sold/traded the suit before I even skied it) Saga=I've never found outerwear that I like the fit of more ( being 6'3" it's just perfect) Yes it's a shell and not insulated like FD but layer up. Waterproof everything and bunch of technical fine tunings that make saga an awesome company. Great customer service. This would be my choice wholeheartedly. Saga is the shit

Have heard only bad things about fd, but from experience

Saga- Great outerwear, well water proofed and fairly durable. They are shells but thats better since you can layer more effectively with a shell. Very tall depending on size choice as stated before.

Armada- I have the Galactic jacket and couldnt speak more highly about it. 20/20k, so its extremely water proof, insane durability, and just really high quality feel overall. This is also a shell jacket, i dont know what you are looking for, but i am a shell fan. Personal favorite outerwear company though i am yet to own Trew or Bloom which both look very legit.

blooms outerwear looks pretty legit for just starting. we'll see how it holds up this year, but i think it'll do fine.

saga stuff is really nice quality and it just feels real nice when your wearing it. haven't had any experience with it actually using it, but my roommate has some and he likes it alot.

i'm a first drop fan. i don't hate it but i'm not gonna talk it up to much. Their pants and coats are pretty nice. they're warm and insulated but definitely not overkill.

iI haven't had any experience with armada. I'd say just get what you like the best and what fits your budget.

I have a yellow Armada jacket, it's absolutely fantastic, it's XL and has the long fit, and it is literally only an inch shorter than my friend's XL lobster Saga jacket. And my jacket is soooo warmmm, I'm stoked to use it this winter.

haha i have tottaly dope saga pants that are super warm and i have a first drop jacket to  me after a season completly fine no problems and super warm and a tottaly getto lenghth

if i say get anything get the last three because i love my fresh fas.c in its 44 in length

I know they're quite mainstream but Oakley makes quality outerwear. I love my fair suit, great durability, real warm without much bulk, really nice fit, and great customer service!
