Hair growing tips?

I'm growing my hair out to donate it to locks of love. I wanna get a sick mane before I shave it all off. Any tips to make it grow faster or thicker?

Actually you do shampoo, just not everyday or even every other day. Shampoo every 2 days, and condition everyday. This allows the hair to produce a lot of it's natural oils which helps hair growth.

Been growing mine for 3 months now and it isn't too long. I plan on growing it out through next summer to see how long I can get it, and eventually donate to locks of love as well.
