Line Masterminds or Afterbangs?

Im thinking about getting new skis and Im a relatively new skier especially to the park. which is the best ive heard the afterbangs are the best for park but the masterminds are good for learning new tricks?

This should be in GT, but I would go with the Masterminds more beginner oriented and the afterbangs are notorious for problems

Mastermind

Pros: Light, Buttery, Fun, Good on rails and Easy to learn new tricks on.

Cons: It's a little slow, and if you hit +50 footers I'd take another ski.

Afterbang:

Pros: Buttery and good on rails...

Cons: Suck at everything outside the park, Way to heavy and also a little slow.

they are both really fun but if you're just starting out go for the masterminds. softer and lighter to learn your new tricks.

Neither, LINE makes the shittiest skis on the planet earth. They fall apart like no other and they are heavy and ugly as hell. Get some Armadas or Moments because they both are banger brands. I don't understand why LINE is so popular...

its really just the afterbangs and masterminds that are notorious for falling apart but my 2010 abangs are still going strong after a full season of winter and summer skiing so maybe i got lucky but my friend has them too and his are fine also. and ive never heard any durability problems about any other ski they have made. but they are popular because of TC and the hippy killahs

I have to masterminds. And i used to have the invaders. I love the masterminds when it comes to lightness and swing weight and such. I have hit the big line at Breckenridge without a problem on them. The only negative thing i would have to say about them is that you have to wax them every other weekend, if not every weekend. After a year, they also had a bunch of edge cracks and the edges are getting pushed into the core of the ski. Still is a very fun ski but if you ski aggressive i might recommend a ski from another company, but i don't have much experience with the other companies so i wouldn't be able to help you with that...

i dont think you should find another company, but i really like the chronics, they're very poppy and responsive... not that light but who gives a shit. masterminds will be a better begginer ski but look at the chronics or the new step ups look dope too.

Masterminds, i've had em for a season and i love them. Both of my friends that got A-Bangs hated them and are now onto new skis. Hope this helped

Have you ever skied on 9thwards or Suspects?

My buddy destroyed the top sheet and an edge on his 9ths on day two.

I know two people that have destroyed Suspects in a matter of weeks.

My friend and I both rep Afterbangs and haven't had any major issues whatsoever. Line does have their downsides, but by no means the worst ski brand. I would argue that they are a great brand. Never had a single issue with them and I'm going on to ski number 3 and 4 this year.

your 100% wrong line makes a ski for everyone, and ever diffenent type of condition. and the master minds are super light. also the afterbangs are bomb proof, so are the chronic, and the mastermind. almost all line skis are good and ive never had a problem with them, if anything dont buy moment there crap.

Thats because people buy the shitty afterbangs and masterminds for 300 bucks and then expect a perfect ski. You get what you pay for. $300 Line skis aren't going to be as good as $600 armadas. Line's entry level park skis have crappy bases and are heavy because they are entry level park skis. I have never heard complaints about chronics or of their EP skis. Can't speak for moment gear but yeah armada makes some killer skis.
