Ski Gear?

Probly going with the saga 2012 outwear but any suggestions on new helmet, goggles,Sweatshirt,Undershirts???




Reason why is because i got into a ccident and broke my helmet and goggles and the doctors cut off all my chest wear. They cut off the only stuff i owned and into 3 pieces so couldnt fix them.

Helmet - Whatever fits well and has a decent safety rating
Goggles - Frame style to your needs - I prefer EG2 or Splice/crowbar
For sweater - Whatever looks good you could buy Saga or Wal-mart doesnt matter too much
Base Layer - A lot of friends go with some sort of fleece type gear North Face, Under Armor w/e I always just stick to a regular old t-shirt or tall tee and I've never had a problem skiing in Utah with it.

Definitely start with a good baselayer. Go to your shop and find something that fits fairly normal. You might want it heavier or lighter depending on where you ski. For everything else, it's just like buying at any time. Do your research and find what will work best for you. Consider quality and tech ratings before everything else. You might also mention to your shop guys what happened. They might hook you up with some discounts.

A good base layer is a great start. Get somthing like a IceBreaker 260 and you will proberbly only need one midlayer. Hoodies and sweetshirts can work but make sure there not cotton. You would be best off with a good technical mid layer though.

Helmet wise as said before get what fits you and has all the saftey certificates.

Again goggles are all about fit. I just got some airbrakes and I love how much vision I get in them, but if they dont fit you, they will be useless.

Go down a few shops try the stuff on and get what fits you the best.

Thanks for the comments, but  i was wondering what are some good companys. Mostly for helemets. im loking for something like poc, not bern or smith or giro. something diffrent and simple but cant remeber any good ones. And i will metion the story but dout ill get anytihng ha

As we all said, the most inportant factor with a helmet is fit, so just go try some on. Why are you discounting bern, smith and giro though they make some great helmets. But yeah just go try some on
