..went fucking hard in revolver. i had partially forgotten because i only watched revolver once, and coming across it on youtube i realized that's a shame cause he does some baller ass shit. anyway, i dont know if it's not supposed to be on youtube but i suppose it can't hurt to post it if it's already there.. if someone doesnt want it there maybe they'll see this, in the mean time watch this shit

Yeah he had a sick segment, too bad the song is horrible and the whole movie is horrible. The last 9 and dub in the pipe are SO big.

..so i'm in the middle of whistler backcountry when suddenly i slip, and start to sink in snow. just falling, aahh ahh, i'll never forget the terror... when suddenly i realize, holy shit, hansel, haven't you been watching this movie for fucking an hour and 20 minutes, and couldn't some of this maybe be in your head? .........and it was. i was totally fine. ive never even been to whistler!

that's how i felt watching it. the skiing was top notch but it was too long/didnt cut enough shots and the music was pretty mediocre

I fucking loved revolver, one of my favourite ski movies ever.  Simon Dumont is a fucking boss. Everyone bitches about him for not being the best looser but fuck off, he is an athelete, cause he is going to be a bit devo when he doesnt get the results he was hoping for

Not a big fan of revolver. Opposed to EDIAS, which is one of my favourites. Still have to see Grand Bizarre, which I have high expectations for!
Dumont is incredible, he's so good and competitive. Always banger segs with insane skiing. Also really like his style.

Really a great segment, song was meh but I overall liked it a lot.

On a side note, I'd rather not make a thread, but does anyone happen to have one of those teal/black empire beanies? They happen to be sold out on the site.

I also love this segment, and like Simon.

Everybody who hates him should watch this clip, and then maybe the will realize just how much Simon has done for the sport!

He not only goes big but like a lot of you i thought he was a douche too but after meeting him I realized hes a really nice dude. He certainly gets competitive but when he's not in that state of mind he is pretty cool.

btw, urban segment in revolver with martini was ballin, music was good and the trick were perfect IMO. that's the only part I really liked but you can't say revolver suck because the urban seg was ill.

overall... i'd say mediocre movie.

but the shot at 1 minute is probably my favorite shot in any ski movie.

He hasn't been that bad when I have met him. Not like we spent a lot of time together but he was pretty chill, even after he had just lost that dew tour stop.

And yeah thats a sick segment and pretty versatile, the road shots are all so sick.

Simon Dumont is a phenomenal skier! He goes huge and has a good bag of technical tricks. Seems like a cool dude. Met him a few times and he seemed pretty chill, but I can see how he can be an asshole. If I was a pro, I would probably come off as an asshole too.

sick seggy. love the cork three over the road, dubs in the backcountry, pipe bit, it was awesome. but like most other people in this thread, revolvers unending backcountry segments fading together wiped the good parts out of my brain.

That segment, along with JP's urban, were the big surprises for me in Revolver. Hated the movie (too long, shitty music, too much filler and visual monotony in the "theory 3 mini-movie"), but anyone who wasn't a fan of that segment....well....your taste sucks.

The cork three over the road gap/jib is next level. Plus, not many people are tossing high safety mistys off of natural take offs. Shit is dope!

Say what you want about Dumont as a person, he is a phenomenal skier and one of a handful of guys who has continued to evolve this niche of the sport for something like a decade.

yea the guy can ski simons a beast and doesnt get enough credit for it. it made me laugh during the part of him skiing powder. he looked pretty awkward in it. oh and he should really wear a helmet
