The awkward moment when two pedophiles talk to each other on facebook pretending to be kids, and meet up somewhere.

That awkward moment when someone asks “Have you two met?” and you reply “No” while the other person says “Yes.”

This one happens to me all the time.

I'll be walking somewhere and realize I am headed the wrong way, but I can see someone I know walking towards me so it looks like I am turning to avoid talking.

Also getting out of the car to exchange info after a fender bender is super awkward.

and that distance where you don't know if you should hold the door open for someone.

the awkward moment when you flick your buddy on the ear at a rail jam, only to find its a complete rando

the awkward moment when you go to your buddy's and find your ex there, then hang out for a couple hours with them all, and everyone's being a bit weird, then your ex and one of the buddies are trying to catch the same bus to leave, then you try to catch up and grab the same bus and they're cuddlin up on the walk over and no one told you they were dating

When I was in high school we made a game out of this. We'd try to get in these situations and then you get bonus points based on who the person was (teacher, student, administrator) and other things happening in the encounter, like them apologizing to you even though you were the one to create the issue in the first place.
