yeah they will. anything that is an addiction will negatively affect your life. the degree that it does so depends on the person and the level of addiction.

Smoking regularly makes you out of breath easier I guess if your gonna be hiking, but some people say they ski better after they blaze, it's up to you

well hmm personally i don't believe marijuana negatively influences my skiing ability...everyone blazes on the mtn... and drinking on the mtn is always a good time, you know split a dozen bury them all over the mountain to gulp down later...you kinda have to time it out though you want to be under the influence enough to make you slightly ballsier than usual but you cant be drunk...been there done that you kinda just loose that whole leg motor function thing...doesnt work out so much. well for me at least...the best part though your always sober by the time you drive home. some sobering wizards magic...

and...does this have to do with your marker bindings prereleasing

Personally I ski a lot better when I'm hydrated, well rested, and sober. I've had plenty of days where I'm really doggin it from going too hard the night before, and even days when I've not made it out at all.

bud - its all good who dont like to blaze in the woods so that is a positive thing for most part.
Pain Meds- these have been my demons, my docter finaly stuck me on 100 mcg every 48hrs of fentenly for pain after a brain injury and legs surgeries etc. and that shit i can tell you affects you negatively , not just your skiing but your body, word of advice, after an injury get off what they got you on! if you dont you guna head down the dark road of opiate addiction ive fallen in to...and if you dont have cancer, dont get stuck on fentenly shit is hard core wack to get off, .....

this topic is ridiculously broad. taking drugs will definitely affect your skiing, but different drugs will affect it in different ways. When i went skiing still pinging on MDMA i skied way better than sober, same with many other drugs. Personally though i dislike smoking and skiing just find it slows me down too much.

as for addiction well thats just an order of priorities if you'd rather sit around fucked all day instead of skiing then you're a fucked cunt.

if im not planning on pushing myself i'll often blaze a little before i go skiing, or whilst i am skiing, and i have found that straight lining a groomer a few times is a good hangover cure

Well alcoholism may present a problem because chances are you won't leave your home/ the street/bars, but after a couple drinks or a good hangover it's fun as long as it isn't too cold and you stay hydrated!

Skiing park when drunk is always a recipe for trouble, but I tried my first ever 180 off a cliff only with the balls that come with being drunk. Hurt less when I ate shit too, lol.

probably not. i bet i could ski the mountain completely fine, but there is no way in hell i could ever ski rails tripping on cid. maybe molly would work for a rail jam, you would have sooooooo much confidence and be so stoked.

I don't find acid to hinder my motor skills like mushrooms do. I skied a day of park on 2 hits last year and had one of my best days of the season, it put me in my zone in a way I had never had been in before, and I progressed more in that 1 day then any other day that year. Now of course drugs effect everyone differently, but it really did change a lot of shit for me for the better.

I've also skied a deep pow day while rolling really hard, that was just fucking incredible. Face shots are taken to an entirely new level. On that day I did feel a bit hesitant to drop any larger cliffs, but just skiing open glades of untracked was orgasmic

I woke up drunk once, went to killingon, went straight to dream maker, did a sw 1 on the first jump, decided i was too drunk to ski so i slept in the car while my friends rode.
