Replying to Roomate's dog died...

so this past weekend my room mate came back with news his dog has/had cancer. 15 minutes ago he got the call from home that it kicked the bucket and now he is absolutely beside himself crying. when he got the phone call i just popped in headphones cuz i heard him start the soft sniffles and figured personal moment. now he is crying like it was a member of the family and i can hear his girly sobs over A Day To Remember blasting in my ears.

This got me thinking about all the times ive had pets die and ive never really cried, like yea it sucked but it was always just something to shrug off and move on cuz at the end of the day they were still only animals.

So I'm wondering NS: Do u guys cry when ur dogs die and im just an ass or is my roomate being a total pussy like i think he is.
